My name is Jason Gay and I am the proud father of two brilliant children. I live in Saint Albans, Maine a bedroom community situated half way between Bangor and Waterville.

In 2003 after acquiring my own sound equipment I began working part time as a contract DJ for a well known Maine Disc Jockey Service.

Soon after, in 2005 I founded DJ Jaceman and began booking weddings, dances and parties under my own brand and it seemed that what was once only a hobby had suddenly grown into a second career and the momentum was only growing.

In 2006 with continued success, positive feedback and the establishment of an exclusive deal with a coastal Maine venue, the business grew at one point to where it took more than 5 contract DJs to cover all of our bookings.

After a few years, a lot of process refinement, equipment fine tuning the ongoing purchase of thousands of tracks, relentless playlist analysis and perhaps most important of all paying close attention to the desires, dreams and wishes of hundreds of brides and grooms  I finally feel like we may be getting good at this ;)

Today in 2009 we are nearing the end of the wedding season and are already booking heavily into the 2010 season with more than double the volume we had a year ago.

I am proud to say that for at least the past two years now, our bookings have been split pretty much 50/50 between myself and Mr. Matthew Brown. Matt has proven himself time and time again.

It takes only a laptop, some music, a pair of speakers and a microphone to be DJ. It takes years of dedication, proven experience, and an obvious passion for making a wedding celebration the absolute best it can be to be a good DJ.
